Blogmas 2021 in Review + 100th Post | Blogmas Day 24

Hello and welcome! It’s Blogmas day 24! It’s Christmas Eve.

In today’s post, I’ll be reviewing Blogmas 2021! I’ll still be posting tomorrow on Christmas Day, I just wanted to review a day earlier so that my Christmas day post could be focused on Jesus.

Bible Verse: In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. -John 16:33

Prayer Prompt: Thank God for today. Thank Him that He woke you up this morning and that He has given you purpose.

Well, to put it simply Blogmas 2021 was a wild ride. Although I believe it was successful, it was extremely stressful and didn’t go as I had planned.

This was easily the busiest month of my life. I was balancing school, work, church, personal life, and posting on this blog every day. Although it was planned out early, it didn’t exactly go as I thought it would. I had to post several posts later in the day, I didn’t use a lot of post ideas I had because they’d be extremely long, and heavy in detail. Although it was overwhelming at times, I’m so glad I did it. And I have a long list on how to do next years differently.

I loved keeping Jesus at the center of all my posts and teaching others about Him through the Biblical posts, daily Bible verses, and prayer prompts.. You all were so supportive of me sharing Jesus through my posts. Even if you’re not a Christian, thank you for keeping an open mind when reading my posts! You’re comments made my day. Thank you for all the love and generosity you’ve shown me through these last 24 days! I’m so grateful to have experienced this!

I’m sorry for the somewhat scattered posts and later posts that were published. I stayed up late some nights just to write and publish a post because I was committed. I wasn’t able to plan ahead because of multiple things going on that made me extremely busy. Although the LTBL re-posts and throwback posts weren’t part of the plan and improvised for shorter, and easier posts to write, I still enjoyed them. I wasn’t able to pour my full self into some posts because of the stress and not much time.

Although it may seem like I’m complaining, I promise, I’m not! It had its ups and downs, but I’m so glad I pushed through and was able to give you 24 (soon to be 25) posts every day! It truly did bring joy to me, and hopefully to you too.

With all this to say, I won’t be posting from December 26th-January 3rd. I’m taking a short break from posting to plan Inside Miriam’s Mind for 2022! I’m so excited to see where this blog takes me in the new year. I’ll return to my posting schedule of one post every Tuesday for January. In February I may decide to post twice a week, but am still deciding.

If you’re interested, here’s a full page of all my Blogmas posts.

I really want to say thank you! For everything!

This is also my 100th post! Yay!

I hope you enjoyed this post and Blogmas as a whole!

I’m working on responding to all comments and meals. If I haven’t responded to you, I’m sorry. I’ll do so soon.

Merry Christmas Eve!

  2. “I didn’t use a lot of post ideas I had because they’d be extremely long, and heavy in detail” – this is so relatable. I was really busy during Blogmas and I was sick too so Blogmas didn’t go as planned for me too but we made it🎉
    Congrats on 100+ posts🎉
