My travel essentials:

  • Phone or tablet with downloaded TV shows, movies, music, podcast, etc.
  • Earbuds or headphones for listening without bothering your family
  • Pre-charged travel charger so your devices don’t die on you
  • A book for a screen-free option
  • Drinks and snacks because I’m always hungry in the car (m&m’s and Chex mix are my favorite snacks)
  • Neck pillow for sleeping
  • Eye mask because those bright lights are so annoying
  • Feminine products πŸ˜‰

  • Wallet
  • Mask because you currently go anywhere without it
  • Motion sickness medicine because I get super motion sick

A Day in The Life of Me

Hello! I thought it would fun if I wrote about an average weekday in my life. I don’t know how interesting my life is, but hopefully it’s entertaining to you.

The alarm goes off at 5:45 am, I snooze it a couple times and roll out of bed. I quickly get ready to avoid being late for the morning walk with my Mom and sister. We usually walk 2 miles in about 30-40 minutes. I love our daily walks, it’s a great way to begin my day. We get back around 6:45 and eat breakfast at 7:00. My breakfast is different everyday, I usually eat a bagel, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, or cereal. Then I’ll start my schoolwork.

I am homeschooled, so I can start my school whenever I feel like it. I usually begin around 8:00 with my English. My English can take 2-3 hours (depending on the day), so I do it first to get it out of the way. I usually mix up the order of completion with my other subjects and take a couple breaks along the way. I try to complete all my school before lunch at 12:00, but sometimes I can’t get it all done… or I get distracted.πŸ™ƒ My lunch would usually consist of a sandwich, chicken noodle, tomato soup, or mac and cheese, etc.

After lunch, at 1:00, I do my math. When math is over I wrap up my other work (if I didn’t get it done previously.) When all my other work is done I usually do some work with my blogs. I have two blogs, one for my school work and this one (so go check the other one out too!). I really enjoy blogging- it’s a great way for me to relax after a long day of school! When I have all of that done it’s usually around 3:00. After all that is done I put all my stuff away, plug in my laptop, and clean my room.

I don’t usually clean my room everyday. I keep it fairly clean, but my sister would say otherwise. When I’m cleaning my room I listen to music. It is usually Hamilton music, meaning I’m singing every lyric and annoying my sister. “Cleaning my room” involves making my bed (because I’m to lazy to do it when I wake upπŸ˜‰), putting away my laundry and making sure it looks somewhat presentable. I actually like to tidy up sometimes, I know it’s probably because I listen to my favorite music, but sometimes I get in the “zone” and enjoy the process.

The time between cleaning and dinner is when many different things happen. Sometimes I’ll journal, text my friends, stretch, etc. It totally depends on the day. If I have gymnastics or hip-hop that night I’ll prepare for it by packing my bag, changing into my activewear, and filling up my water bottle. If I don’t have classes we’ll eat around 6:00 and clean up around 7:00. If any of my favorite shows are live (like America’s Got Talent or The Voice), I’ll watch them for however long it’s on. I’m currently watching The Voice and I love it so much!

After my TV or dinner I’ll do whatever I want. I might write a new blog post or facetime a friend, it just depends on the day. Then I’ll I go to bed around 9:30 or so. What is your favorite free-time activity? Thank you so much for reading this post!

P.S. My regular posting schedule is on Tuesdays, but I might start posting throughout the week too.

My First Blog Post

This is my very first blog post on “Inside Miriam’s Mind” and I’m extremely excited! This is a lifestyle blog, so I will post a large variety of material. I have many ideas for fun blog posts. I always love to hear from my readers; if you have something to say please comment below.

I’ll start my blog with a little about myself. I have been homeschooled my entire life. I have many hobbies including: gymnastics, baking, cooking, sewing, dancing and blogging. I live in a large family and I’m sure you’ll hear lots about my them in later posts. I love Hamilton music and Marvel movies.

I originally started blogging for school, but I decided I wanted to create another blog for fun. I Hope you enjoyed my first post on “Inside Miriam’s Mind.” Please like, subscribe and let me know if you have any blog suggestions. Thank you so much for reading!
