Welcome back to my blog! I’m really glad you’re here today!
If you don’t already know, I’m a Christian. As Christians, we are called to share the good news that’s the gospel. I felt like I was being called to share my faith. In this post I’ll be sharing the very basics of the gospel and Jesus’s love for us.
This post was inspired by Kaelyn @ Kaelyn’s Life and her post in love with jesus. Please go check out her amazing post! I absolutely loved reading it and wanted to do something similar, except on his love for us!
Growing up in the church, the first thing you learn is that Jesus loves you. He loves you and he died on the cross for you. As I’ve grown in my faith, I’ve come to know his love for me so much more. He loves us more than we could possibly comprehend! We are his children!
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!1 John 3:1 NIV
Is there anyone in your life who loves you unconditionally? It could be a family member or a friend. Isn’t is amazing to be loved? Isn’t wonderful knowing that even of you mess up, they’ll still love you? This is Jesus’s unconditional love for us! There’s nothing that we could possibly do to make him love us any less! In the book of Mark, Judas betrays Jesus by kissing him on the cheek in front of a crowd who had come to arrest him so Jesus’s identity could be known. But guess what? After Judas, his friend and one of his disciples, betrayed him he didn’t love Judas any less. Now that’s true love!
While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”Luke 22:47-48 NIV
Jesus is always there. He’s there when you’re excited. He’s there when you’re grieving. He’s there when you’re thriving. And He’s there when you’re depressed. He is with you all the time.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”Isaiah 41:10 NIV
You know that friend who knows you better than anyone? They’re your best friend. You can talk with them about whatever knowing that they won’t judge you for it. They’re there for you all the time. You can pour out your heart to them. Jesus is like this friend. No matter the circumstance He’s there! You can talk to Him. You can lay your worries and praises on Him.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.1 Peter 5:7 NIV
In summary, Jesus loves you more than you know! He’s always with you. There’s nothing you could possibly do to make him love you any less!
Talk to him today. As a Christian we talk to him by praying. Here’s my prayer for this post:
Dear heavenly Father,
Thank you so much for this opportunity to share your love for us. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you that someone’s reading this and that they now know your love for them.
I pray that this post may have open someone’s eyes to your goodness, and that they would get to know you. I pray that someone’s touched by this message and that they live their days with peace knowing that you are with them. I pray that I can continue to share more and more about you.
In your heavenly name I pray,
